Zamana sultan peri
sonsuzluk mübah ilmi
Böylece tatsız kaldı
Florida körfez çayı
Bu gece çok karardı
son günü orak ayı
Rastgele hayallere
düşünce bir bahane
Nefsinde her faniye
ummak mı bir mucize?

I SAT ALONG THE BEACH
I sat along a scenic beach
On a rusty old bench that screeched
Awed by the waves of the ocean
As the sun set on a boat in motion
Seagulls were screaming, enraged
There was a feud on that stage
Though real cheerful was the horizon
I was mad at the peace, but soon wizened
A graceful and lustrous girl
Stole the sunset from its twirl
Sweet scents from goldilocks brewed
Since late morning, what the sand had strewed
With her peach breeze supplanted
All creatures were enchanted
What roared at the old man's head
Was that silent inner zoo which misled
The angry superego called out:
“Whoa! You old disgraceful lout!”
“Will today be yesterday...
If you were to go astray?"
She was not aged much too much
At sixty, like twenty, with a soft touch
This Fairy was a princess to time
Her science did the infinity climb
Well, it remained unpleasant
The Florida gulf stream, a drifting legend
That night was dark and sublime
Last day of a great harvest time
Such thoughts about fond random dreams
Knead wild excuses or so it seems
What's in our souls invisible
Is it hope that there is a miracle?
