Aradaki mesafe, yerçekiminin nişan taşı -
Birbirlerine can atanların ayrılık sancısı
Demek ki, mıhlanmış vücutlar kazık, yaban yerlere
Hatıramda bir bakış var, kalmış uymuyor cümleye
Uzun uzun vedalaşmıştık bir hava limanında,
Kopmak istemedi kollarımız uçak dumanına
Dedi ki: “Nerede olursan ol, manen beraberiz!”
Kendime: “Eh, molla paşa; öyleyse, kafayı yeriz!”
Anlarız mevzuya düşünce: “Zaman insan düşmanı!”
Düşünce nur topu değil, hoplasın binbir kıtayı;
Sevenlerin ruhu kafeste, salsan uçmaz kuşları,
Can ister, imkansızda aşsın, maddeten mesafeyi
O zamandır kıskanır, meleğe ait efsaneyi!

They call telepathy the thought beyond the body
It's like word of mouth, news from person to person.
The distance between is gravity's aiming stone -
The pain of separation of those who long for each other
So, nailed bodies are piled in wild places
