BEAUTIFUL LIFE
Smoke billows in the mountains
Its an incense, a cure for my heart's phantoms
My favorite pastry is rolled out
Its chat chat time, no doubt!
Who knows how many times the sun has risen?
It lights the soul of those with a vision
Submission to the Will of God is Right
Clouds kiss the earthly ground knelt on site
Pastry without cheese is not at all terrific;
And, lunch is not complete without buttermilk
Sacred One, blessed the world with tables, chairs, plates and glasses
For friends and relatives to enjoy treats with warm molasses
She gave birth to twelve of my children, sonny!
She served bread with butter and a lot of honey!
There are no secrets or lies between us, we have respect:
Twenty-four grandchildren arrived as proof of that, in every aspect
For me every day is a holiday and so much fun
My bride always admires me, she is my sole loved one
We've been together now for fifty-five years,
Along with the Holy Book, prayers, love and cheers!
