Why today, again it replayed in my hazy memory?

Ah! That pleasing tune from a girl herself pretty like a lily!

It is hidden in my heart as a partial eclipse

As if and of sudden, her fragrance breezed into me

Together with the sounds of our late lush garden

Purple, purple branches of her lilies

Once lively, climbing on the trellis

Now are lifeless, resting on a dry bed of leaves
