Muhteşem gecenin aymış feneri
Geceyi gündüze çevren seferi
Vadiye bayılmış secdeye düşmüş
Sessizce demlenen dereler yüzmüş
Karanlık gökyüzü yüzünü okşar
Kaş gözün ardından yıldızı parlar
Yeryuvarlağına kamerin aşkı
Geceye güneşmiş imanın şavkı
Muzaffer neferin alnında seher
Sabırla gelecek sabahı bekler
Tanyeri günaydın derken ufukta
Güneş selam eder selam ayçaya

NEW MOON
New moon is the shining beacon of a magnificent night
Its an expedition turning the night into a day so bright
Faint in the valleys and kissing the ground
Silently brews the streams it swam around
The dark sky caresses its face
The star shines behind the eyebrows with grace
Love between the moon and earth
Is like the sun in full splendor for a night of mirth
The dawn over the head of a victorious soldier
Patiently wait for the morning Helios to beam over
When daybreak is on the horizon saying good morning
The Old Sol is saying bye to the moon with a bit of mourning!
